So it's archery, table tennis, a rail shooter, and a gladiator game?  Yeah, those are still pretty much Wii games with an HD skin.  It's a mini-game collection.  Woohoo?  Haven't Sony fanboys been calling minigame collections and shovelware the same thing for the past four years?

Ehh.. you got the wrong game. What you described are "Move Sports Challenge" and "The Shoot". "Move Party" is a minigame collection, that uses the Z-Achsis and "augmented reality" and I guess it's a similar concept to Wario Ware Smooth Moves.

You're going to have to explain it better than that or provide a link.  What I think of as Augmented Reality isn't really something you'd need the Move for and Z-axis is nothing new.

If I'm not mistaken, Augmented Reality is when a camera films real world events, and overlays text or graphics to lable or alter certain parts of the shot. Cell phones have started using this in combination with GPS to render some handy apps, but again, I'm not sure if this is what you guys are talking about or not.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

looks like the move will have potential, i dont use my wii and most inovative and unique wii games will probably be ported over so ill probably get it.

Name three games that would actually be decent and sell well that would be ported from the Wii to the PS3. I dare you.

If I see NMH2 or Red Steel 2 on there I'll laugh hysterically.

I said this before and I'll say it again. I want Motion Control to die off. I'm tired of having game quality ruined before because of an excessive need of graphics, and more recently because of gimmicks. I know that's what sells, because the casual fanbase are made up of people who think "Just Dance" is a great game. But it still will kill off gaming as we know it if the Move and Natal takes off.

Oh, so it's like that silly thing where someone put anime faces on people?

Because that sounds like a fun game?

I am interested in Move, but I want to see the games first. I won't be running out to buy it, but about 6 months in I figure I'll take a closer look and see if it is worth it.

I give this thread a 9.5.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

Look, I don't want to sell the Move to you (and if anyone tried to, I'd doubt that persons sanity), for me it was only about your "_everything_ Sony showed was a Wii-knowckoff" comment, which wasn't entirely correct (but mostly correct - that much I always admitted), because there was Eye Pet and Move Party. links: http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=7422  http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/28318 .

You don't have to think that that's "new" or different enough or appealing in any way, but it was there.

Nah! ill just buy a wii and pirate games MWAHAHAHAHA!

YES I WILL BUY IT

my only problem with motion controls is that i don't want it to become standard over the traditional controllers... (as you can read on my sig)

as an optional control method it is acceptable... i could buy this but like others i will wait for the software to see if its worth... for now i am 30/70 on yes/no...

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

If Valkyria Chronicles 3 support IR targeting then sure ;) If not I'll consider it once they have some serious games support and once I'll know it will be usefull for me at all in my limited gaming space.

Through honestly I'm only interested in IR pointer functionality.
