Forums - Microsoft - MS has a bigger HDD on the way. I got pics to prove it.

I heard a rumour that they were also going to introduce even larger size HDDs from Fudzilla.com. It does make sense that they will introduce slightly larger HDDs to give people a little more incentive to upgrade from their 60/120/250 GB Xbox 360s so maybe 320GB might be the order of the day.

Tease.

its not the size that matters its how you use it right??

Partially true, but if it is way too small you won't do much with it.

I bet yours is the smallest possible, or you wouldn't be saying that...

I smell a 20gig user here

I really think MS should stop jibbing the shit out of their customers with those HDDs, they are far too expensive and the price should be lowered. Even after the new firmware update, you'd still be limited on the external USB device, that's such an ass thing to do.

Just remove your ass HDD policy MS so people can use their own HDD, like a 500 GB, or a 1 TB, or whatever. Like the PS3. Because of stuff like this, I will never buy your console. Trying to cheat your customers with overpriced products. With the PS3, I had the freedom to chose what I wanted, not what YOU thought I should use.

Getting back on track as this is nothing to with the PS3 so lets dispense with the haters already please.

This was obviously a dev kit box that allows unsigned devices and code to run, funnily enough anyone with a hacked box could have produced that image too anyway by installing a 320GB HDD. Noi doubt there will be a 500G HDD at some point in the consoles lifecycle though as it becomes as cheap to purchase them as it is to buy 3250GB drives now.
