Only have a ps3, but the ps3 version is fine since it was patched, from what I hear.

Well do you like Devil May Cry at all? Or Ninja Gaiden? Or even God of War, but want something slightly more technical?

That's my problem.  I never got all that into Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden.  God of War held my attention better, but mostly because of the presentation. 

I think I'm easily bored by hack n' slash games, but I've heard absolutely amazing things about Bayonetta.

Yeah if it's a problem of just being bored by them then Bayonetta should be worth it, but you might want to give a rent before you buy.

I'l probably rent it, yeah.  Or rather, I should rent it.  Need to curb this habit of buying 5,000,000 million games every month.  >_>

Everyone that's thinking of getting Bayonetta should get it, I've nearly finished it and it's fantastic, the patch worked wonders on the game.

I think I'd still pick up Bayonetta for the Xbox, even with the patch. I'd like to hear it from someone who played both whether it's really "fixed" or people are just claiming it is.

Only problem is the odds of me finishing it would be slim to none. Never finished GoW, DMC4, Ninja Gaiden 2, etc.

Even $40 is too much for me to pay for a game that would boil down to being an expensive rental. Demo was great, but not "free crack sample, must have more" great.

Picked up AC2 for $30 (almost bought at $40 a couple weeks ago) and BlazBlue for $20. Even if I don't finish either, they were both low enough for even less than 10 hours play each.

Oh, you'd finish Bayonetta and you'd love it.  I have DMC4 and Ninja Gaiden 2, too.  I barely played those games before I got bored.  I beat Bayonetta about 3 times (and I plan to go back and beat it on hard).

Three times? If I didn't already have a pretty lengthy cue of unplayed games, I'd probably pick it up, but I just started NMH2 last night (which I resolve to finish), still haven't opened Bad Company 2, and have AC2 and BlazBlue on the way. Still need to pick up ME2, Bioshock 2, FFXIII, GoWIII, Heavy Rain... there are way too many recent good games and it's kind of stupid to buy them all now when they're just going to sit in a pile still in the shrinkwrap.

I'll probably pick it up around the holidays when Amazon does its crazy sales or sooner if I happent to catch it for less than $40.

Nothing really interests me on that list. Rune Factory I just got on amazon for the same price. Cursed Mountain is temping for $10 though..
