the PSP GO is making sony more money than the PS3 and PS2 combined hardware wise.. even with those abysmal sales. They will likely cut the price once they start breaking even on PS3 hardware. Which should be from now to e3.

Anyhow, like I said in the other thread, its a rare moment that even if it is barely, SONY managed to top nintendo with the PSP and PS3, it happened a couple of times last year, and I think once this year in addition to this moment, but its pretty rare.

PS3 software world wide should top 3-3.5 million, making it one of the biggest weeks of the year, if not the biggest.

Nintendo is doing amazingly well, the wii is finally getting stock in, in the americas, and the DS continues to do pretty well. I suspect they aren't worried about sales much.

Microsoft needs help in europe, they are doing perfectly fine in the americas, and in japan, they are doing horribly, I still dont understand how capcom could release MONSTER HUNTER FRONTIER only on 360.. I mean it would make sense to make it a PS3/360 game at the least.

$$$$$$$$$$$$ Duh....

Who knows, maybe it will do something..

Maybe it is a timed exclusive. And so MS continues to use same strategy on japanese market, to a lesser extent i agree.

But Microsoft must be giving Capcom a serious amount of money to make this exclusive, clearly if it was on the PS3 as well it'd sell 2 or 3 times more then the X360 version. It's odd that Microsoft would still be doing this, this late into the generation for Japan when clearly there isn't much that can help X360 sales in Japan at this point.

MS strategy has been about both trying to lure people to 360 and to deny access to certain titles on PS3 for as long as possible.  I guess that even with 360's depressed sales in Japan they are still keen to try and slow PS3 up.  Not my favourite tactic, but I guess one they want to continue with for a while at least.  Either that or the actual arrangement was made a while back.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
