I voted Batman, I think you'll tire of GoW if you play the second one now, and Batman is one awesome game.

I said ME2 but on second thoughts, play a game that you HAVE NOT played before. I think that's the most important thing. They all (Except one) highly regarded games, and you can't really go wrong with any of them, so pick the one you've played the least.

If you have already played Mass Effect 2 play Bioshock 2.

The only reason it didn't score higher on Metacritic is it got completely overshadowed by ME2.

My advice would be don't play games, contact some friends you haven't seen in a while and go out, go see some good movies, have drinks and eat out, go see a game, etc. Or get your friends over, play some poker, get in a great takeaway and some good wine.

That's what I do when "The Wife" takes herself off for a weekend. The games can wait.

But if you're going to insist on being a recluse then Batman or Mass Effect 2 - I slightly preferred Batman even with its flaws as it just felt like the best attempt at such a game yet and the VO for The Joker was the best VO work in 2009.

Actually heavy rain is not there in poll but i will suggest you to play HEAVY RAIN beacuse good game but contains nudity too which is usually difficult to play infront of wife.
