I'm pretty sure in the ~10 years that have past since using cartridges, they have advanced GREATLY right? I'd figure with USB drives increasing in size and SD cards..... a cartidge the size of an NES or N64 nowadays would hold tons.

yeah, it seems like an idea that could work. but what would that do to theyre image? and besides would they really go back after dropping it? (console wise)
