Forums - Nintendo - Can't find Fragile Dreams anywhere because there is no french version.

Well, let's get it out of the way:  my first langage is french.  I'm proud of that fact, but I am doing fairly well in english.  Most of the times, I am all the way behind the fact that a game as to be translated in french to be sold here in Quebec.  Most of the times.  You see, Fragile Dreams is not translated in french.  I think this is too bad because it isn't sold in stores because of that fact.  For the first time, I would have liked a little bend in the rules.  Fragile Dreams will have to be bought online because of this.  Is it the same thing in Europe?  I think it would be a matter of a fact to translate it in french, no matter what.  Even if it won't sell millions, they are frustrating me!  I didn't think it was possible for a game to NOT be in stores because it's not in french.

Anyway, just letting out a little steam.  Thanks!  I really want this game.  Really.  But I hate buying online.  I never do it.  Don't feel it's very secure.

So, that's it!

I totally disagree with you.

I hate that law.

Hm. Sucks for you. I'm European, but I generally buy my games online anyway, 'cos it's much, much cheaper.

I thought the law was that if a French version existed, it had to be sold ... but if not an English version could be offered.

While I certainly understand the position of the PQ, its language laws are probably the most restrictive of which I am aware for a place that is not a totalitarian state.

Aussi, j'ai visite' Montreal en 1987 pour un jour. J'ai parle' francais et les habitants ont repondu en anglis.)
