mashing the action button repeatedly.

Turning the game on to be stopped by a title screen, damn I hate that, everytime I want to play a game I'm stopped by some stupid "Load Game" screen, I WANT TO PLAY MY DAMN GAME YOU SILLY CONSOLE!

I was playing Red Steel 2 today (I'll give give my impressions after I have completed the game) and noticed something that commonly occurs in gaming.  It seems that there is a train level at least every other time that I play a FPS.  Don't get me wrong,  I think that train levels are super cool, but I'm wondering if it might be getting excessive.  Why doesn't every other FPS have a level on a cruise ship?  That would be cool too.  Oh well...

Anyway, the train level in Red Steel 2 gave me the idea for this thread.  Name something that commonly occurs in video games that you can think of.

Sneaky reference to Goldeneye 007?

Something that commonly occurs in gaming:

The main character, and ONLY the main character having an American accent.

The Frigate level was brilliant.

Oh and I don't really have anything to add to the thread, It's rare I buy multiples of games that are essentially the same... I suppose the whole fire and ice level thing is pretty common.

Hmm, I remember liking it.... but my inability to complete it on 00-Agent frustrated me, I could do all the other levels fine, but shooting Ouromov and Xania without shooting Natalya!!!! ahhh.

There was no margin for error in that level on 00 Agent.  Not only was shooting Ouromov and Xenia nearly impossible, but you also had to be perfect with your wrist watch laser to get out of the train.

The level that you have to protect Natalya while she's hacking the computer was even harder.  I never thought that I'd beat it.
