Looks like FEAR 3 is coming...titled F3AR.

Y3S!! I really dig the numb3r in the t1tl3. Hope they announce FE4R next....

In any case, FEAR1 is one of my 5 best FPS games of all time. FEAR2 is ...*cough*...a good rental!

So I hope F3AR is more like FEAR1... I honestly hope they sort out some plot issues with the first one and forget part 2 ever existed.

Why? Its one of the most forgettable games that iv played.

Oh well if some people like it then i guess they should make it.

I enjoyed the first one but havent touched the 2nd. If i hear good things i might try this out.

F.E.A.R. was REALLY good, though I hated it on the 360 because the controls were pretty awkward. I never really played F.E.A.R. 2 though so I don't know if I'll play the third one.

You're wrong. FEAR1 was not forgetable. It was bloddy original when it came out in 2005. Anyone that played it back then will agree that it was probably the best looking game at the time (PC) and gunplay and AI was tight... WAAAY better than gunplay and AI found in Halflife 2 or Doom 3.

Let me guess, you picked it up for 19.99 in 2008...3 years later after other shooters copied its bullet time mechanic, atmosphere and visuals were no longer cutting edge...

As far as FEAr 2, it was the first time that I saw the "console syndrome" ruin a game. The game was dumbed down for consoles...it was much easier, less original and it was compeltely forgetable. The gunplay was still fun and ahead of 90% of other games, but everything else was on par with the norm.

Fear was amazing, fucking scary as hell, damn near wet myself a few times.

Fear 2 was crap, they changed it waaay to much. this one may end up being the most scary.

I never actually bought it but i did play the Demo on PC.

It was meh, it was good for the first of its kind.
