So, Star Ocean The Last Hope International and Final Fantasy XIII are better games according to IGN. What happened to : Resonance of Fate "the best JRPG of this geneartion"?

I can't really tell if I'll like it or not from the review. I have to test out the battle system myself. Going to rent this after FF13.

guys for ppl who have actually played the game this and 1ups review is full of shit... you can tell that just sped run RoF review I doubt they even finished it, if i wasnt heading to class I would break this review into pieces and tear it up...hell both reviews mentions said issues but they barely give any detail in to it most likely because they cant.

The only Issues With Resonance of Fate are:

* its story - unfortunately its told in episodes, where each ch is its own mini story with backdrops to main story at the end of each ch...has lots of interesting ideas but spreads them to thin.

* environments and Map dont have the detail that was put into that battle system or customization...Graphics are what you would Xxpect from a multi game just average

* not enough enemy variation

These are the only issues with Resonance of fate

a decent score for a decent game.

The Japanese have lost it again. Oh well...at least they put out FF before all hope was lost. I almost gave up hope after Lost Odyssey which was the last above par JRPG I've played.
