Yo! Lately, I've been watching a heck of a lot of movies. I can't believe how many great old movies there are out there, and how there's so little time to watch them all! I was talking to a friend about this sudden interest of mine and he recommended a few more old classics, and I'm happy he did because most of them were very good.

So, basically, I'm wondering if there are other great old movies with "wtf moments" à la Fight Club or American Psycho, or even some funny movies that don't take themselves too seriously like Black Dynamite and The Big Lebowski, but at the same time try to do many cool things with music and the camera or even just character development.

Here's what I watched in the past few weeks:

- Fight Club;
- The Rules of Attraction;

- The Shawshank Redemption;

Highly enjoyable movie. Though they went overboard in the special effects department.

And haven't seen Donnie Darko and The Departed, yet, but I've heard stuff about them! Will I be pleased with Trainspotting?

the departed is one of my all-time favourite movies. ever. ever ever.

and trainspotting, has a lot of "omg" moments. and its set in Edinburgh ♥ (doesnt show the city's best side, mind. but still, its home lol)
