About this age thing...even considering, for absurd, that all of the 125million of DS users are 7/13 years old, I don't see why they should not be excited considering that 4 out of 5 of recent 3D movies were made for kids like spy kids, cloudy with a chance of meatballs,Up,Toy story 3, journey to the center of the earth, Bolt,Polar Express...

I'm pretty confident Nintendo understands the 8-9 year old demographic pretty well. Are you really going to doubt Nintendo for that age group, seriously?

They can always watch and learn.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

im sorry but WHY again do you think i lack knowledge in statics?...i would really love to know your reasoning, seriously....i really wanna know why im wrong in this

It's been previously said. You think 3000 is small.

Why would 3000 not be reasonable even if it is representative of the population?

PEOPLE!

Let's stop derailing the thread.
Everyone and their grandma knows DS appeals to a wide demographic, probably the widest ever across all videogame related machines. And definitely to a much, much wider audience than, say, PSP, for example. If one or several individuals don't want to hear that, so be it. Too bad for them, but let's stop trying to convince them with endless arguments, because we all know it's no use talking to brick walls.

Let's all just move on.

Thank you, that's also quite relevant. It's easy to see that the userbase skews heavily toward the kid age in the US, but there are still far more adults playing the DS than there are children doing the same in the US, especially when it comes to women.

Didn't Sony get the note that Nintendo products aren't only bought by 8 and 9 year olds?

sigh, how many times do we have to go over this? Despite what many of you claim, The DS is targeted towards a "kiddie" audience and the Wii is as well. The people who buy games like Final Fantasy, MGS, Uncharted and Halo are in the severe minority when it comes to Nintendo consoles, which is the audience Sony and Microsoft are pushing for.

Stop with the BS.

i refuse to believe that graph, i have NEVER seen a 34 year old man or woman with a NDS.......whehter anyone likes it or not...nintendo wants to hit a demographic that has do with kids, theres nothing wrong with it, but its just what they are MAINlY trying to do

OH and not only that, but its  sample of 3000....really?...thats um idk .000234 percent of the DS pop

EDIT: lol, nevermind
