ok...so Final Fantasy Xlll plot has been buggin me, cant really say i like it or hate it but i will say that it seemed strangely familiar to me. I would be playing the game saying why is this story soo familier, i would think of other games and other stories and to no luck i could never figure it out but the 1st thing that would always pop into my mind is "super heroish" but i couldnt figure why!
Then in my 3D animation class i was explaining the games plot specifally the l'cie to a friend and i said this " l'cie are humans with super natural powers that are hated by the mass majority of humanity even though the l,cie fight to save them"
then it hit me!!

l'cie = mutants-both are cursed or blessed with supernatural powers that have humanity fear and hate them even though the l'cie/mutants are fighting for there protection.
Eden = Origin - both are the beginning of there respective species
hell even main characters have the mutant equivalent!!
Lighting = wolvrine( bad ass anti hero, kick ur ass attitude)
Fang = Gambit( the heavy accent)
Hope = jubilee( young kid suck into a war wolverine/lighing soft spot for them)
Sazth = bishop( token blak guy with guns, both have powers the increase strenth)
snow= iceman/cyclops( ice powers, big tallkers, strong leadership abilities still fights for ppl who hate willingly)
vanille would be jean grey( innocent girl with a drak side phoenix ragnorak)
CID =mister sinister
