Its a developer showdown.

And judging by the Gears 3 tech demo, it doesn't look better than Uncharted 2... Either way, surpassing Uncharted 2's visuals (October 2009) in April 2011 (20 months later) is not impressive at all.
God of War III is by far the best looking game of this gen so far...But I hope GoW 3 out does GoW III graphically (see what I did there ? ) so we can see more competition among devs, resulting in better looking games.

btw, why is this a Nintendo discussion ?
