Forums - Sony - Dutch Sony marketeer lets LittleBigPlanet 2 slip, uses Move.

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=240072

LittleBigPlanet 2 is on the way and it will be compatible with the PS3 motion controller, Move, according to translations of an interview with Dutch PlayStation marketing man Folkert Langeveld.

Speaking of Sony's strategy with the Move controller - expected out this autumn - Langeveld let slip that it will be compatible with LittleBigPlanet 2, according to Tweakers (our Dutch is non-existent so we can't vouch for it).

This seemingly confirms the sequel is in development, as previously rumoured and dismissed by Sony. We've contacted Sony but, in the meantime, if any of you can speak Dutch, care to translate the relevant bits for us?

Basically confirmed then, I wonder how it will be different that the first game.

He mentioned Sony also bringing out games for the Move for the advanced gamer such as SOCOM and Littlebigplanet 2

So if this guy really works for Sony that's what he said

goddamnit didnt media molocule SAY that they DIDNT want to make lbp2 cause then it would SPLIT the creative community.... -Sigh- well i'll buy it :D

wishlist

UPGRADES give us some of dem capes/fireflowers :D

In a nutshell:

This fall the Move will be released in the Benelux (Belgium Netherlands Luxembourg)

New Ip: Spores and The shoot(?)

Existing games that will be updated to use the Move: Pain, Flower and Hustle kings(?)

The Move is made to broaden the userbase.

It is made for new players but also for the current users who will be able to experience the Move with games like LBP2 and Socom.

It will be the most precise motion controller.

It will also capture sound, so sound will also be a part of your gaming experience.

I know LBP dosent really need a sequel, but I'm definatley exicted for this.

i'd love a LBP sequel, MM makes the best levels so i'd buy a sequel just for their levels. ...but if it came with new elements like ps move and, i dunno, a sword it would be great. just make sure that all my items from LBP transfer into LBP2 and i'm happy.

they already announced that LBP is getting move thing, so it might be that LBP1 is dubbed LBP 2 by him.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

They should do something like you can play existing levels in the lbp2 but not the new ones in LPB1.

so many people wud upgrade

Hmm i would like a whole new game from MM but LBP2 sounds good too xD
Seems kinda true since Sony bought MM we shall see.

Yes, they should make it like the Rock Band DLC songs.   Usable in both versions, they shouldnt have a problem doing this
