Forums - Sony - Prediction on how the next PSP will be.. Ps3D?

You know what sony failed most, imo, with the psp?

The thing is already 5 years in the market and they don't have a Pokemon, a Nintendogs, a Brain Age, a Professor Layton, etc, etc... an portable exclusive IP!

All the heavy hitters (that are not THAT heavy) are third party games - like monster hunter or GTA. Games like MGS or Final Fantasy Agito are good, but they look like gimped versions of home consoles. There's no IP you can say: now that's a PSP IP!

yes coz sony only copies Nintendo / sarcasm
PSP2 will be great, hopefully next time they will bother to have two analogue sticks lol, and HD graphics, it's too early for 3D on a handheld device, that is for consoles (otherwise cost will be phenomenal lol)

it's the future of handheld

You can't have HD graphics on a handheld, at least not yet.

Now this is the truth my friend. I'll even add something: All the top PSP sellers are spin-offs or ports from console games. It lacks unique system selling titles, the only exception being Monster Hunter in Japan (it's still based on a console game, just more popular on the PSP).

Something else: If Nintendo can steal Monster Hunter (make it multiplatform or even 3DS exclusive), Sony will have a really hard time in Japan!

yeah not yet, but later on, I'm willing to wait for it, if they decide to go that route lol, it's just what I would like to see, the original psp was like a portable ps2, so I can't see why we can't have a portable ps3 in the future, of course lol.

@Zuhyc that will probably happen just look at monster hunter 3 on the Wii, hopefully Kingdom Hearts and God Eater will help out the psp for a while longer :P:P

i think that if Sony is going to use 3D without glasses then two screens is a given

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Touch screen
2 Analogue sticks
"use motion tilt thingies"
3D (not sure)
No UMD (Maybe they will use there memory sticks)

And like "KillerMan" said they will sell it with profit (or at least for cost price)
Priced around 200$
