hasnt sony been developing a wand for like 10 years,so how is that copying??How is it a copy if both were in development without any public showcases from Sony?

Next to that both work in reverse opposed to each other.
One uses a fixed Cam, the other uses a (moving) cam inside the controller

No, they haven't.  They were developing the Eye Toy to track objects and were using a simple stick with a ball as a reference point because the Eye Toy was not very good at tracking without something big and solid colored (and now added glowing).

Did what? State the obvious?

Why put inspired and copy in the same choice option. Its 2 very different thing. Its easy to prove what you wanna prove when you play with words. If you wanted this to be the last talk about it, it wasnt made with the correct question and choice of answers.

Because I wanted people to fall into either a yes/no category. Either the PS Move was inspired or a copy and it doesn't matter where on the scale you consider it to be or it is not.

Tease.

If you think about it from a technical perspective, then no, not to mention Sony claims it's been in the works for a while.

But from a business perspective, I doubt Sony would've released Move if it wasn't for the Wii's success.

That's my take on it.

Pretty much this.

I am getting fed up of these kind of post's, the answer is now NO after diggin up more information, the only thing  Sony is guilty of is tailoring the PS Move to look like the wiimote.

Now some of you may claim it to be a simple ripoff and copy of the wiimote, whilst I agree it looks very similar, the wand based motion control has been in development since 2004, and here is the proof right here.

Finally could Wii do this before ps move was shown to use all, I know it can't, so ps move can do new things that wiimote can't, end argument

and this video from the engadget show

That is clearly not development of the controller it is only eye toy lol

If your stating that Sony did motion first then you should look at what Nintendo did 19 years ago with the power glove

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(
