Maytag.

-^- That would improve hygiene around the general gaming population.

Lifetime Sales Prediction - 6/29/2013
Wii U - 38 million
XBOX One - 88 million
Playstation 4 - 145 million

I honestly wish Apple would make a console...just so it can be the same product for twice the price with half the games on it, and be a complete failure.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Sony and Microsoft, it's boring seeing Nintendo walk all over them without having to fight.

The only reason Nintendo is dominating is because the casual market is consolidated behind one console (the Wii) while the core gamer market is split between the 360 and PS3.  If it was just Wii vs PS3 it would be at the very least even in sales with maybe a slight advantage to the PS3 by this point.

That is more or less why I dislike the 360.  It needlessly splits the core gamer market and doesn't really offer anything to make it better (no blu ray, no 3D, no built in wireless, no cutting edge games etc).

The only major innovation from the Xbox and 360 that's been released thus far is making people pay for playing multiplayer games online and charging more for inferior 1st party parts (wifi, hard drive etc) and then suing everyone who makes accessories for your system.  I will admit both of those are new, but neither is a step in any kind of positive direction for anything.

If it was just Wii vs PS3, most HD developers would be out of business.

If another major competitor enter's the next gen, then most likely we'd have to lose one of the companies we have now (unless the new console fail's). I'm content with the three we have now, but if I had to choose, I'd replace Microsoft with SEGA. I'd really like to see a merge between to companies though, now that would be interesting: Segatari anyone?

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Microsoft buys Sega?  At this point, I'd honestly take them over Sammy...

Meh, anything to kick Sega into the mainstream again. SEGA are sitting on a goldmine of IP's which given the chance could out due both Sony and Nintendo in the software department and Microsoft seem's like the only company large enough to back them up with the cash.

Sega, give me Sonic Adventure 3 and I promise to buy at least 10 copies.

SEGA!!!

The Dreamcast is the greatest console ever created. It has features that even the 360 doesn't have (out of the box online play, a web-browser, Mouse and Keyboard support, cross-platform multiplayer).

This so true :B

Dreamcast had almost everything that is "standard" by now and had way more ideas to keep it going. Even Samba de Amigo and House of the Dead felt a lot better than the Wii stuff. Chat with video, talking to your games, an "easy to develop for"-system.

Dreamcast was king and the world would be ready for it years later when SEGA was out.

Id LOVE to see both APPLE and SEGA jump back into it.. Sega will not however, and thats a guarentee..

Apple actually has a pretty decent chance of entering, but they probably fear trying to jump into a market where there's no room for anyone else.

“Absolutely, we can do much more with it. I don’t know if we are even close to 50 percent of PlayStation 3’s power at this point,” said Asmussen about God of War 3.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
