My guess is it's the last redesign IGN did on the site. They do it too often, and this last one just changed everything around too much. It's difficult to look up archived reviews on the site now. The whole navigation is unnecessarily complex and it was redesigned only like a year after their last redesign. I don't mind a visual pick me up a site goes through every once in a while, but IGN has been built and able to be navigated approximately the same since 1996 and now it's gone to shit. I'm visiting Gamestop and Metacritic more often than ever when I need to read reviews now because I can't find the old alphabetized list of reviews per platform on IGN.

Indeed.  Good for gamespot, bad for the rest of us.  Its like cheering for Stalin over Hitler.  Who do you want telling you what to do and like?  Apparently one calls you a fanboy and tells you to submit, while the other one just tells you what to like or you have no taste in games.
