The PS3! Not the consoles*g*
You know...The Consoles can focus on the game and dont have to run some other things in the background. Windows and such stuff is leeching
Also they said last week the Alpha and Beta Version of FF14 will need more power than the Final Version. Of course we dont know yet what is needed for Maximum Settings and this game looks damn awesome. But i think it will be playable with PCs that are little bit older(2-3 years from today)
They just need to Program it well and it will run smooth. But if they do it like ActivisionBlizz with WoW than we will be screwed...This game needs too much power because it is programmed like shit. If they would fix it you could play probably on Ultra with PCs that are 25-40% weaker
But for the people with low budget there is still the PS3 Version and i think this will look like the PC Version on High Settings at the end.

PS3, not "consoles"? That's what they said about FFXIII, and about FFXI before it. It'll be PS3-first, but I give it a year and a half, tops, before a 360 version is announced.
Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
