lol yeah true. Like i just got banned 2 days for a little harmless joke about France's military history. Like you can't say anything that could possibly hurt anyone's feelings.

I have noticed that, the French people here seem to get offended very easily , yet the US people here get the most flak of all and I hardly see anyone getting banned for speaking out against the US, yet make fun of France, and it's the ban almost assuredly it seems. There seems to be huge inconsistencies in the whole moderation business.

Not true! I've seen people get banned for anti-american talk, and I even had a somewhat anti-american thread locked. Though you can still troll on Rare or religion freely
There's definitely less epic threads, I think it's just the off-topic Forum that's gone downhill. It's packed with Spam Threads and most epic threads really don't have a chance to be epic because they often get lost in the Spam threads.
The Sony Forum is always an exciting place to be, lots on news there.
Gaming Forum has some good threads, kind of getting repetitive though, same as the Sales Forum. Every now and then you'll get a really good thread.
The Website forum has been slow lately, it's been a while since a big VG Chartz user posted something epic and drunk there.
As for the Nintendo and Microsoft Forum I'm not really sure what goes on there, I don't visit to often.
All in all I noticed it's not the same as it was a couple years ago, it's true some really good member's that made the site a fun, laughable place is gone or banned so that kind of sucks.

Oh wow what an awesome thread. I am not a fan of tyrannical but his post made me laugh aloud. But notice that no one got banned! Meanwhile I have seen one or two people being banned about talking against France or making fun of it. And it's specifically France, not another country.

That thread was almost two months ago. If there were any bans they would have ended by now. And there weren't any really anti-American posts in that thread anyways.
And yes, there are a couple of things you can troll on this site without being banned for. You just have to report the posts that you find offensive and the mods should deal with it
I blame the permabans of people like YesWiiCan, Crazzyman, RockOn2008, etc.
These guys were extreme faithfuls to their systems and some of the posts they made were pure gold...I was lurking around you know...
It just can't appeal forever to anyone. I find this pretty normal, and talking about going down the hill, yo should take a look at IGN instead.

I agree with you man. They need to be fair and put their personal feelings aside.
