Final Fantasy I 3/5: I played it a lot when I was younger, fun game at the time but it has a lot of flaws the characters aren't well developed, the story is bland and that bloody problem with the missing attacks still haunt my dreams. But overall fun, I spent 3 months palying it.
Final Fantasy II 3/5: Played the PSP version, the characters are much better and the story more compeling. The battle system still feels primitive but for the FF entusiats it's ok.
Final Fantasy III 4/5: Played the DS version, good music, great work with the FMV and the story even if it's simple still holds well. Good game and one of the best RPGs on the DS
Final Fantasy IV (II) 3/5: I bought this one with my SNES at the time I didn't know about the differences between the NA and japanese version, but still I'm not very interested about them, it's quite fun at the time but it hasn't aged well.
Final Fantasy V 3/5: Weak story, bland characters. There's something about this one taht doesn't fit but the job system is quite good.
Final Fantasy VI (III) 5/5: I have nothing but praise about this game, the graphics are great, the music is awesome, the combat s quite fun and rewarding, the story is good, every character feels strong and important, every event and detail feels like a relevant part of a great epic. It's not the typical "save the world" story (because after all the world is detroyed in this one) but a voyage of self-discover and redemption. Love this game a truly masterpiece, 100% recomended.
Final Fantasy VII 3/5: I've a love / hate relationship with this one. First the character design is great and the backgound strories are really good with the exception of Caith Sith (wich is nothing but a waste of space in my opinion) but unfortunally the story is strongly focused on two charcters. This game has great moments but also has a lot of worthless events and scenes (I don't buy the fireworks scene, sorry) The combat system is good but I really hate the fact that you can't change freely your party, in VI you can chage the party in any form at certian points of the game, but here I'm stuck with a cry baby blonde as leader (and Cid for a brief moment) The main story was good until the main character; a careless mercenary was turned into a cry baby emo and the blood thirsty boss was turned into a cry baby obssesed with his mama. Anyway FF VII love the ideas, hate the execution.
Final Fantasy VIII 3/5: This one was Ok. I didn't found the caracters so memorable or the story any good. I found the combat really annoying.
Final Fantasy IX 4/5: From a techical point of view this game is awesome, the detail and characters are really good but the story is quite bland. The old fashion style is nice and the music works really good with this one.
Final Fantasy X 3/5: Pretty graphics and .... that's all I guess.
Spice Girls in Fantasy World (aka Final Fantasy X-2) 2/5: One of the most ridiculous combat system ever created, annoying characters, boring gameplay, nothing to see here.
Final Fantasy XI 0/5: Why games like Tactics and Chrystal Chronicles are out of the main series and this turd not?
Final Fantasy XII 4/5: Really good game. The story, characters, comat all fits really good. Even if it isn't a masterpiece it's a nice good game.
Final Fantasy XIII 3/5: Go from point A to point B with some of the most annoying characters created.... but has pretty graphics.
