Forums - Sales - FF XIII sales and adjustments

So Initial sales reported on VGCGARTZ where not accurate and it was adjusted up for PS3 and 360 by almost 250-300K each. However, such adjustment caused a 10,000 more console sold for 360 and none for PS3???? I know it is bundled with 360, but come on, FF is a name attached to PS3 and hard to believe that you up 360 and none for PS3.

It would be good by the people who make up the numbers to explain adjustments which has been happening very frequntly recently.

Around the Network

Adjustments have always happened frequently and in plenty of threads I saw ioi describe how they undertracked the numbers for Final Fantasy 13.

Here it is "Ok, ok - looks like we massively undertracked FF XIII for some reason - our scalar ratios were way too low. Figures have been adjusted up in light on this data for Americas as well as more info we've had on France, Germany and Spain."

He further post in the thread with some more detail. In regards to the consoles sales I have no idea, been too busy these last few days to notice.

Thanks for information. I understand that sometimes adjustments are needed, although i cant understand how the last adjustment boosted 360 consoles sales by 10,000 and none for PS3. At the same time, FFX ws adjusted up for PS3 by almost 300,000 and for 360 by 200,000.

Hasn't there been reports of the ps3 being supply constrained?
