Over Twitter, Final Fantasy Versus XIII producer Tetsuya Nomura gave a small status update about the next HD entry in the Fabula Nova Crystallis project.

A fan asked what percent the game is complete. Nomura declined to answer and said, “Everything isn’t connected yet, each part has a different rate of progression.” The second tweet is more newsworthy, “But, you can fly on the world map with an airship.”

Apparantly Nomura said this a while ago. If he pulls it off will that be a bitch slap to Kitase's face with his "Towns are too hard to do in HD". I am indeed looking foward to Final Fantasy Vs XIII.

I can understand Sci-Fi towns being a little annoying in HD. But a Medieval town shouldn't be that difficult. and not every NPC needs to talk.

I'm in chapter X of XIII and all I want is more FFXIII. I can't wait for Versus. I wonder how the story fits in with the rest of the world...

I want that car in the trailer
and in the trailer the road is cut off, poor characters their world map isn't complete yet.

Maybe it will be like Lost Odyssey? No real world map for running around but you get one when you use an airship?

final fantasy 13 is amazing and i would love to see a ps3 exclusive (ff13vs) taking full advantage of the bluray , ff13 is around 35 gigs and so is gow3 but i wanna see a full 50 gig bluray full to the gaters
