Still, i'd love to play a virtual reality Final Fantasy Extreme Beach Volly Ball game with that stuff, in HD, with better graphics of course... oh and with the dudes not the women.

who cares what the graphics look like at the moment. In the next ten years think about what improvements could be made on this system.

 

We could be playing final fantasy through a VR helmet/visor setup very soon. And our police officiers could be solving crimes similar to Jayden does in Heavy Rain.

huh? that sounds neat, but you know... 2012... arm-a-ge-don is upon us!



That's not virtual reality. It's augmented reality, the name of the device is even AR... Still pretty cool, but I don't know how applicable it would be to current gaming, as the amount of moving that is being done is quite a lot more area than most living rooms provide.
