April '11 makes more sense as a release date for Killzone 3 than Christmas '10 IMO.
Christmas would be too early, there should be at least 2 years between Killzone 2 and 3.

Well now that the Gears 3 rumor has been killed off I've got a feeling this will probably end the same way. Though I would be waaaaay excited if this actually does get announced.

Gears 3 would outsell KZ3 by quite a bit.  Either way it looks like the Gears 3 rumor is false and the KZ3 rumor might be as well

Hmm...well it seems Gears 3 has been thrown out of the way, fortunately (to avoid KZ3 vs. GoW3 arguments) and unfortunately (because it's in high demand).

But if KZ3 indeed gets announced for release in April 2011, I'm going to jizz myself.
