Do you think microsoft/sony will do another pricecut of the xbox 360/playstation 3 when natal/move comes out?
MS already has a price cut on the arcade to $129. But that ends in a week or so.
Microsoft still has room for a pricecut on 360's with a hard drive. They'll probably keep the Arcade at $199 I assume and either drop the price of models with hard drives or increase the size of the hard drives to imply value.
Sony probably isn't going to have a price cut for a while, though they can probably have bundles.
I still think a 360 price cut is coming. Its been years since it saw a real price drop. It would definiely help the sales of Natal and Reach.
The PS3 probably won't see a price cut until 2011.

A) That's a sale, not a price cut.
B) Only a few online retailers offered that in the US.

Its actually a Canadian sale that ends friday I think.
I'd bet more money on bundling in the new kits at the current price than I would on a price-cut
Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...
XBox should get a cut well before Natal, they have the room for it.

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
They would only cut the price if they actually have something to gain. Since we don't know their absolutele goals are we cannot say what they will do.
I suspect MS will not price cut but will rather sell all 360s including Natal for the same retail prices we have now. It seems they have at least $70.00 they can move accomodate the cost of Natal using the current Canadian sale prices of $129.00 (from $199.00) for the Arcade model as a guide-line.
