Well since ODST apparently only takes 3-4 hours according to the PS3 fanboys it should have cost $30-$40 right?
I can run through any side scrolling Mario game in less than 15 minutes with warps so I assume NSMBWii should have cost no more than 50 cents?

I was actually unaware such warps existed in NSMBW. Where are they found?

The great thing about the ODST halo 3 multiplayer disk I found was that the maps from the map packs loaded faster off the dist then they would off the hdd with the original halo 3. Don't know why. But then again halo 3 works better when it isn't installed.

I haven't played the game so I assume it has warps. Even without it I can still beat the game within 1 hour. So lets make it an even $5.

Weird how i can tell you exactly how long it takes for me to beat the game and how much its worth and I haven't even touched it before. Kinda like you guys and ODST.

Somewhat off topic but playing some multiplayer tonight I realized how unbroken it is. You don't have some idiots camping in the corner taking turns with headshots, idiots dashboarding out when they aren't winning, no uber annoying noob tubing type guns, etc. Halo really is the best multiplayer fps console game created.

This may make the PC fans happy but I still love my Quake 3 Arena for best fps multiplayer of all time. Gotta love that instagib. If any of you guys ever played that back in the day I was known as s1lent_assasS1N and later on enVy_

For a pure deathmatch experience quake 3 is probably still the best FPS ever released.

I don't owe Bungie an Apology I thought they gave us a ton of bang for our buck with ODST. However I think Bungie owes all those poor Halo3 owners an apology for giving everyone all those map packs for free while they charged their loyal fanbase a pretty penny for those map packs!

If I had a PS3 and I had Uncharted 1 there is no way in hell I'd buy Uncharted 2 for $60 because there should be more content and a better graphical improvement than what it offers. If it were $40 I might give it a thought but $60, no way. That goes for any game not just PS3 exclusives...

The last statement had no logic at all. The has to be one of the dumbest I have ever seen, and I love both of these franchises

You don't save Halo3 to the HDD.

It takes longer to load. It's one of a handfull of games which this happens to and MS tell you not to install.

...for criticizing the price of ODST. Now before you bash this thread read my points and tell me you don't agree. For $60 you get:

1. Brand new campaign (on the somewhat short side 6-8 hrs but up to 10 hrs with exploration) Hated the Campaign

2. Firefight mode (all new multiplayer mode similar to Gears of War's Horde) Very laggy for online and also hated it

3. Every Map Pack released for Halo 3 (total of 24 multiplayer maps) Already owned 21 of the maps for halo 3 and the 3 more they added sucked.

4. Halo 3 multiplayer (for new 360 owners who haven't purchased Halo 3 yet this is huge..you can play Halo 3 online without buying it) Already Owned halo 3

4. Access to Halo:Reach Beta (arguably worth $60 itself) This i agree with you exceot not worth $60 maybe $10 max.

...and Activision owes us an explanation.  For $15 you get:

1. 5 multiplayer maps (2 of which are on MW1)

So honestly ODST is not such a bad deal after seeing how Activision wants to rip us off on this new map pack.

I still think ODST was a rip off. Granted i didnt like the campaign or firefight mode but still in no way shape or form was it worth $60 for 3 shitty maps and the halo reach beta. I think Bungie owes me an Apology for releasing this poor excuse for a halo game.

Yeah great thread imo. Every owes the an apology for not buying the best expansion pack on last year imo.

Agree. One of the best expansions ever.In the UK most 360 games release at £39.99. MW2 was £45.99.ODST released at £29.99.Considering ODST takes longer to finish than MW1 for example, As an expansion it's utterly amazing. And is priced fantastically here in UK to.
