Hell No, 4.5 hour campaign and that is exploring, yes firefight was cool, but not worth 60 bucks, maybe 40 bucks, any Halo fan has most of the maps

ODST was $60?

I was under the impression it was released for $40.

Guess that shows how much it wasn't on my radar.

Either way, it was an expansion i'd say in content... and expansions usually are often full price depending on how much new content is added.

for a couple old redone maps and an inferior multiplayer(compared to cod4)

No ODST sucked ass. As much as I love Halo, it damn right sucked.

cool story bro

I don't play Halo online at all now. Had the map paks so I rented. That said ODST has amazing musik, atmosphere and the usual tight kontrols and gameplay. Bungie's produktion values are sky high. Missed my favorite Spartan though.

Anyone who got through it in 4 hours probably used a guide and definitely was out to prove something. Kongrats. Took me 8.5.

How many games these days give us 6 hrs of formula and pap. You want value try rpgs. Though I saw a guy do ESIII in 7 mins! I'll buy ODST when I kan and new not used. Sorry the letter after b is rapping out, dam heap M$ ws board. I really hate those sobs..... err sometimes. For $50 you'd expekt free batts for life!

I'm sick of this!  ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THAT SHORT!!!   Its only that short if you play on easy or normal and run through it.

...for criticizing the price of ODST. Now before you bash this thread read my points and tell me you don't agree. For $60 you get:

1. Brand new campaign (on the somewhat short side 6-8 hrs but up to 10 hrs with exploration)

2. Firefight mode (all new multiplayer mode similar to Gears of War's Horde)

3. Every Map Pack released for Halo 3 (total of 24 multiplayer maps)

4. Halo 3 multiplayer (for new 360 owners who haven't purchased Halo 3 yet this is huge..you can play Halo 3 online without buying it)

4. Access to Halo:Reach Beta (arguably worth $60 itself)

...and Activision owes us an explanation.  For $15 you get:

1. 5 multiplayer maps (2 of which are on MW1)

So honestly ODST is not such a bad deal after seeing how Activision wants to rip us off on this new map pack.

the main reason why people criticize ODST's price was that they first said $40 and then changed to $60.if they had priced it $60 then people wouldn't have bashed it so much.

second was that although it introduced a big bag of new features and modes like L4D2 did over L4D,it didn't feel as big as a Halo title like previous Halo's.

Halo is a very big franchise which reinvented FPS genre and fans expect a huge increase in quality from every iteration

Firefight, Reach Beta, and a solid SP made it worth the $60 I paid (even with already owning the maps). Ultimately it is about you personal enjoyment of the game.

If you did not enjoy the game, then it wasn't worth the $60. How many of us regretted a specific game purchased at a $60 price tag......I can name several for me this gen. Again, this goes back to your individualized opinion of said purchase, and ultimately what you got out of it.
