Forums - Sony Discussion - US media quality

Taken from NeoGAF:

"Redi Godshaw, the kid with the unusually dusty PS3, is a professional actor and has been paid to act on FOX shows before.

He goes on FOX news, with a horrendously dusty PS3, and it is never mentioned either that A.) He is a professional actor, or B.) His PS3 was far beyond normal levels of 'dusty'.

It just seems to me that FOX didn't provide 'fair and balanced' views of a problem with a foreign electronics manufacturer.

Gaf's thoughts?

IMO many US media often seems to provide faked analyses and exaggerated reporting serving veiled agendas (hope for self-fulfilling prohecies?) Makes me wonder if they go through all this trouble with regard to consumer products, what else they may be participating in, there are far more important issues plaguing the world.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Is this the PS3 they were talking about?

Does anyone really expect Fox News to be fair and balanced? I've never been to the USA, but if I've been hearing things correctly, only a very deluded individual would expect them to be unbiased.

I do find it ironic that Fox Studio's supports Blu-ray XD but then again Blu-ray isn't sony owned >_>;;;

I know a couple of people who took this report seriously...
