So......who's getting Metro 2033?

Of course......not. No. 36 48.65%

As soon as I finish FF13 (yes, even after all the shit I talked, I still got it) I'll get Metro. I'm waiting until I finish GoW2 to get GoW3.

I'll probably borrow it from a friend if any of my friends get it.

I'm thinking of picking this up down the line, maybe this summer after I've completed ME2, Splinter Cell, and Alan Wake...

Given that there are 18 games since Microsoft launched 360 (Including Arcade) that I don't have....

Yeah, its a high likelihood that I will get Metro 2033, Resonance of Fate, and Supreme Commander 2 tomorrow.

I'll probably pick it up for the PC along with GoW3. I will also probably end up playing it first since I've been dying for a well done scary FPS for several years now.

I was gonna get this but than GOW3 had the same release date... and for some reason, I woke up today wanting to beat COD-WaW on veteran... so my game life will see this later down the road.

Nice vid, I reserved it as well. Alot of great games coming out for xbox 360 this year.

What do yuo say CGI? I can trade left 4 dead 2 1:1 for metro 2033...

Do the trade?

That's a tough one, because L4D2 at least has a multiplayer. Besides, I personally would never trade in an L4D game.

Well if your a half life fan, and a Bioshock fan. Metro 2033 is gonna deliver, deliver, deliver.

"For starters, the dank tunnels of Russia's Metro system are more evocative and more powerful than anything explored in the return visit to Rapture. Metro 2033 opens a window into a world totally unexplored on Xbox 360. Step through it and there's an unshakable feeling you're trespassing into a PC game."

"The world is utterly captivating: if the theme is strictly Fallout and the concept is Bioshock, Metro's closest cousin in terms of game mechanics is undoubtedly Half-Life 2."

"There's no blinking arrow in the centre of the screen to guide you forwards and little in the way of hand-holding. Struggling to open a door? The solution might well involve working your way into a neighbouring room to blast away the plank of wood wedging the handle, or to blast the anchors of a chandelier's cabling and swing the broken light into the entrance. Very PC, very Half-Life, and we're sure you'll agree that any game taking its cues from Valve's masterpiece (at 97%, the second-highest scoring title in Xbox World's history, don't forget) is going to be worth a look.

4A Games have approached Metro 2033 with all the confidence of a Valve, and a healthy portion of the talent too. The game boldly flits between solo and cooperative missions with just the right balance, and occasionally spices up the mixture by throwing you into a few (actually, genuinely superb) on-rails section when you least expect it."
