But we haven't got to the good parts.

  • Move will fail
  • Move is a FAD
  • Hardcore gamers don't like Move.
  • PS3s are going in the closet.
  • 3rd parties don't understand how to make games for the Move.
  • Move has peaked.
  • X competitor will come in and own Move.
  • Move is overpriced for the hardware you get.

I mean we're only really on step 1 here. We have to recreate the entire Wii history for the PS3. If it truely wants to copy the Wii it will have to go through each and every step.

Btw, did I miss anything?

Man, If that makes you so sad then dont get in forums where there are fanboys.

And you are blind if you think the Wii is the only console that gets trolled in the internet.

Oh no of course not. Its not the only platform to get trolled but it still doesn't mean that I haven't learnt from the logic used. Why can't I ask the same questions of the Move as people did of the Wii? Why can't I ask how long before it gets stuffed in the closet? How long until the fads over? They are questions that the Move will have to asnwer, so what harm is there if I enjoy asking them?

Now, on topic: Didn't you hate the arrogant attitude of Reggie Fils-Aime? "We would be embarrased to do what our competitors are doing" or something like that... ". Was he trolling or what? Now, what can you expect from the fans? Rationality?

Pfft. Call yourself a Nintendo fan?

PSMove is like Sega bringing out a 'hardcore' blue rat to challenge Mario. You expect a REAL Nintendo fan to just sit back and take this?

You can go play Move Party and sing kumbaya with all the Sony heathens but the REAL Nintendo fans will carry on the good fight.

Well I think him preferring Nintendo games and consoles to others make him a fan, this isnt a war and none of us in forums are paid to fight each other, so Id say keep supporting nintendo and buying their things but getting in stupid conflicts with other fanboys seems childish and stupid.

you know you really irritate me, you are an example of the kind of people who raid ps forums and post negativity, and post of your above points are totally wrong.

Why? Because Move hasn't released yet? Well thats true. I have to cross out some of the above because we'll have to wait until Move releases. Oh and how can they be wrong? Since the Wii had to suffer through every single point of the above and the PS move is trying to be a replica then obviously they'll need to go through the same steps!

here you go here is what I think to your statements, the only one you will have fun with is the 3rd party one, hope you have fun

  • Move will fail - debatable just look at the votes for people interested in the move here, on the front page, also I hate it when people say something will fail, when chances are it actually wont, i think it will have a small success, but nowhere near wiimote levels
  • Move is a FAD
  • Hardcore gamers don't like Move.
  • PS3s are going in the closet.
  • 3rd parties don't understand how to make games for the Move - probably will happen, just watch as wii has it's tacked on control based games some games on the ps may have the same problem
  • Move has peaked.
  • X competitor will come in and own Move - please don't make me laugh you obvioulsy have not read the negative feedback from the Natal showing in february, but its problems are hardware based, so unless they put out the new prototype expect no improvements.
  • Move is overpriced for the hardware you get - actually yes move is overpriced, but the ps3 is a very powerful piece of kit rendering your statement useless.

Those Sony fans who you talk about probably dont think the idea of motion controls are gimmicky, but that the gimmick lies in how nintendo has found it fit to introduce games for toddlers where the main gameplay mechanics are directed at people ages 5 and under.. or casuals.

This is not what I believe, but that is probably their thinking.

So motion going to other platforms, (just like analog sticks and rumble before it) was inevitable.
But the decrease in graphics and family friendly approach can and should stay with nintendo in my opinion. (and lets face it, Sony and Microsoft want a piece of this market)

I understand the hesitation to want any of the family oriented motion "quikie-games" that put the wii on the map on the PS3/360, and these concerns are voiced within the game development community as well as game journalism. These games undermine everything which core games have progressed towards.

Why make bioshock, Mass Effect, or Resistance when something with the title of Sports Fun, Petz Reunited, or LetzGetFitz will sell tons more and yield greater profits?

The fact is $$ is the bottom line, and all 3 of the console makers know that Nintendo's approach is the way to get it.

Motion is coming in one way or another and there is nothing we can do to stop it.. (scream now), lets just hope the soul of gaming is not lost in a drive for something "new".

But yeah, I can't wait for Sony's Move and Microsoft's Natal......

I was pretty happy with my purple lunchbox playing Melee and Kart nonstop. Shout out to F-Zero GX!

Look at the voters here? If you went by the forums here you would think that Carnival games sold >50K and Valkyria Chronocles sold > 1.5M. This site is hardly representative.

I have no idea what Natal will or will not do. They haven't actually shown anything recently so its hard to say. However they are targeting a different market which probably makes their chances for success higher. You ought to think about that one.

The PS3 is very powerful compared to what exactly? The Wii? But that hasn't helped the PS3 yet, so why will it help the PS3 as it slides into obsolesence?

well, i can't understand you. What is "brainless platitud" anyway??

Are you earning or losing something with this?

haha, a brainless platitude is a thoughtless meaningless statement presented as though it was significant or original.  Like this one:

"I don't care about anything I just want to play video games."

The thing is, there are reasons and facts to consider, events have occured in the past.  Its a good idea, imo, to consider concepts like these when forming opinions.  I'm sure its my problem.

anyhow, cheers mate

You are new here, so I don't want you to get banned, but you can't really say things like this. Keep it in a PM or VGC IM.

Just say "I dislike Sony and do not endorse the Move at all" Caps Lock a few letters if you want...

Thanks, I did indeed enjoy my ban...  but why didn't you Pm me?

I can admit I was a little harsh, Sony aggravates me with the way they do business.  I think the best idea is to just stay out of threads like this since I'm not one to censor myself.

See ya around.

Will you forgot the Move is "Doomed" we need about 3 years of that.

As for NATAL I think MS is going after the pedophile market with "milo" that "mature" title looks like a child molester simulator.
