… you help a girl, riding an office chair, escape from the Yakuza.

Slider (working title) wasn’t revealed last night, but Sony showed it today, ten minutes ago actually, and it’s SCEJ’s only announced PlayStation Move title. The concept is quite simple. You use the PlayStation Move to guide the girl. Tilt it to turn. Flick it up to jump. While you’re rolling down a hill you can duck under objects by pressing the trigger button and spin the chair in midair with the move button.

The girl is a secretary and one of the playable characters. A dude detective is the other. So far, he hasn’t been selected, but I hear he wears a tie and has suspenders.

Get to the goal and you escape in a broken down van. While Slider sounds like a short game, Sony plans to make it a full title with many levels. As offbeat as this sounds, Slider is confirmed for North America. It’s a PlayStation Move launch title.

Sounds like it's a really fun title imo, always wondered how it would be to just slide down a road on a chair!!!!! I didn't really know about this game other than seen some images of it.

I find the whole premise to be hilarious and fun :D from the stuff announced so far this is my most anticipated atm, can't wait

The idea of this sounds like some cheap flashgame you'd find on Miniclip or Newgrounds or something, making it into a full budget game is just a really stupid idea.

I've tried defending Sony and their decisions multiple times, but this time, wow...

Eh really? This game gives me a Crazy Taxi vibe, which is imo one of the most enjoyable games ever! I guess we have to agree to disagree on this one :)

I love it! This is what looks the most fun out of everything I've seen ascsossssiatetdt with the Playstation Move.

Yeah but even so, Crazy Taxi felt like an arcade game, infact, it WAS an arcade game, it's as if they just did an Arcade > Console port. This game seems to suit that thing, where it'd be fun to play in an arcade with friends etc. like, if it had a Race mode or something too... but as a standalone fully fledged game, I just can't see it doing much whatsoever, they should just stick it on the PSN and not put too much effort into it that, in my opinion, won't pay off.

Again mate, we just see this very differently. I personally think that Arcade like simple yet FUN games like this is the wya to go with motion control. I can imagine playing this with a friend, going down the road on office chairs trying to kick the other guy into a bus!!!! :D would be priceless! oh well let's see when some video gets out of this to see what people will think of it
