Not true because:

-No Nintendo games

-No Halo or Gears.

Also, the pseye is different from Natal, I think you should learn more about both items.

If you are talking about games, then you must be living under the largest rock that has yet to be discovered..

SONY has a 1st party studio that is MUCH LARGER than nintendos, and brings out MUCH MORE QUALITY ip than nintendo.

If you are talking about the motion controller, then I wont argue, since we haven't seen many 1st party or 3rd party titles that utilize the move, and the PS3 has as much 3rd party support as the XBOX 360 has.. give or take an exclusive 3rd party game.

There are many games for ps1, ps2 and ps3 which are better in some regards to the ones nintendo has produced, thats why.

Well I disagree, not because I dislike Sony/PS3, I don't, but to me sony can't compete with Mario. His legacy, and sales are to much for them to overcome IMO.

Metroid is one of the highest reviewed gaming series in history, and so is Zelda.

People seem to forget who Nintendo are.


No, its not about forgetting who nintendo are, but it simply isnt true that nintendo games arent surpassed in any regards by what sony first party studios make, for example GOW3 is better graphically that anything nintendo has produced, that is one regard in which sony games are better so that makes what he said wrong.

And dont forget about critically acclaimed games like Shadow of the Colossus or Ico, and games with great reviews and great sales like the Gran Turismo series, you may prefer Nintendo games, thats your opinnion, but stating something like the games nintendo make "are unsurpassed by anything SCE has ever produced" is a completely different and stupid thing to say.

You do realise I hope that games like Zelda, Gears of War etc came out when the userbases were extremely tinsy winsy? Now the PS3 has as many sales as the Xbox 360 did last year and yet they don't have nearly the same impact in terms of key franchises.

Nintendo would still have 5 10M sellers if both Wii Sports and Wii Play weren't packed in with hardware. Wii Sports would still be a 20M+ seller on its own and Wii Fit would have sold well regardless of whether it was packed in with hardware or not.

I never mentioned anything about quality because quality is some arbitrary metric and it can mean whatever you want it to mean. I was talking about desirability which is another thing entirely. Nintendo has it, which is why their games and their console are top of the charts.

Well its different to say the "best" games than the most wanted or popular ones.

The best games are often also the most popular. I don't think there are many people who are calling Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom a forgotten gem for example. They go hand in hand, except for Wii games because the metric by which they are judged is so narrow that any qualities they do have are missed.

Like I've always said, to me Nintendo offers the best of both worlds (the best "casual" games, and Nintendo games) so not only do they have the "most wanted" games, but they have some of the best critically acclaimed games also. =)
