Hey y'all, asking on behalf of a mate who's having issues with his version

He's playing FFXIII and on chapter 9, and got to a point where it plays a video scene, then it switches to a loading scene. Then it just stops?

Played through the same passage of play now 4 times and same thing keeps happening in the same spot.

Just wondering if anyone else has come across similar issues and if so how did they fix it?

*I'm still on chapter 7 on my game (and different console) and not come across any issues. - although obv - I haven't hit chapter 9

What version is he playing? If it was the 360 version then:-
1- The DVD must be scratched
2- If he installed the game, tell him to reinstall it.
3- He's playing the pirated version

If it was the PS3 version, then the BD could be scratched.
