And I'm looking for suggestions. Thus far, I think I'm going to go back and play Deus Ex, Planescape, and Grim Fandango again. Maybe toss in Baldur's Gate while I'm at it.

Any ideas on what else I should search for?

Arx Fatalis is a pretty awsome action RPG

System Shock 2: if you like Bioshock.

The Path: really creepy, atmospheric game.

You should try out Fallout 1 & 2.

X-COM, X-COM. I can't recommend it highly enough. I think they even have it on Steam. I know I got it with the 2K pack, or one of the other multitudes I bought.

Also Heroes of might and magic 3. That sucks up hours and hours of time.  I also highly recommend Alien vs Predator 2, much better than the one that just came out. I played a lot of Warcraft 2, but that's one game that had games top it. I'd also suggest

Edit 2: Duke Nukem 3D, if only because of the shrink and freeze ray, and the strippers.

i'd suggest age of empires (take your pick whether it be 1, 2, 3, or any of the xpacs) but those games only really shine online. There not the best single player games but may be worth a look.

Nox perhaps? Have you played Stone Prophet? One of the coolest RPG's of all time!

Oh my god... I forgot about Nox. I used to play that game so much before I got Diablo 2. The wizard was broken in multiplayer.

Buy The Ultimate Haunted House.

I don't even know where you'd find this game these days, but it's so worth buying.

Ooh, forgot about the Thief games. I'll definitely add those.

I just played Fallout 1/2 less than two years ago. No need to revisit those games.
