Ummm...Here is in order my top final fantasies after FFVII

1. FFX
2. FFVIII
3. FFXIII
4. FFIX
5. FFXII

I can't say anything about FFXI due to never playing it. All of these are good games(some even great), but FFXII was the biggest disappointment in the Final Fantasy series in the last two decades

Not like they couldn't do it, either. Every single FF released up to now except for XIII would fit on a single blu-ray.

J Man this is my second favorite ff game. This final fantasy has the best fighting system. i loved the extra monster hunts as it added many more boss fights to the game. This is the final fantasy I have played the most and I have played them all since 7.

I think the story is not the best, but the combat is the best and it was not as linear as my least favorite FFX. Barely have begun XIII so I cant comment much on that one yet.

Quickenings don't use MP but a Mist Gauge. If a Limit Break took my MP, I'd be pissed. That seems like a great change.

New Game +: Strong Mode (Start at LV90), and Weak Mode (Never level up from LV1)

No existing damage limit. Not like 99999 in FFX, it can go as high as you can make it.

Damn, those changes, would mostly fix most of the issues, that i had with the game.
