Presumably, they're going by the number of ISO country codes. And... OMFG, there are 246 of them. Wonder about the rest of the stats no more.

I can't believe they're withholding the goodness from those 9 poor cunts, it's horrific.

Now- give me the list of Live supported countries, along with their capitals, population and why they're pissed off with the lack of support in their country.

Woa, thanks for learning me something new. I didn't realize they had a coding standard for specifying geographic regions as well as countries.  Makes sense though.

I'm betting one of the 9 ISO "countries" is Antarctica, and maybe Christmas Island or Heard island?

Zimbabwe is also a possibility as I doubt computer games are affordable in a country with 10,000,000% inflation.  Just a guess though

I wish I had a 100 billion dollar bill.

I would like to know some real sales numbers, but it is nice to know that Steam is doing well. With Gabe's recent words against restrictive DRM, I hope that they continue their great attitude and support towards their PC customers.

Now where the **** is Half-Life 3?

Why stop there? A 100 Trillion Zimbabwean  dollars for $2.50 US.  I'm a little tempted myself

750 terabyte...
That's actually a figure you could turn into sales with a couple of assumptions. If half of that is downloading of new purchases, and the average size of a game downloaded is 4 gig, that would mean 100 000 sales each day during the holiday sale. Could possibly be a lot more, if average download size is smaller, and a bit less if the numbers are incorrect the other way. 700 000 sales during one week sounds reasonable to me, if it's during the most busy week of the year.

Yea it's all going to depend on the game. You can go from like 600 megs from a game like Half-Life to 15gigs from a game like Empire: Total War.

Napoleon Total War is up to 17GB, but you also have to consider demos being downloaded

Is the Napoleon demo any good? I mean, it'll probably be like other Total War demos and only have the battle tutorials. However, I remember the Empire demo running so slow and missing things (like sound effects) that it wasn't worth the download.

Well... I thought 4 gigs would be reasonable as an average. And I did consider demos being downloaded, as well as redownloads of already purchased games. It's not a perfect number, by any means, but I do think it's a good ballpark figure.
