That was the fastest way to pull out combos and the most common used strategy. But if you had high enough speed + combo count, you could pull of insane combos even with high health.
Heck, i've seen solo's of Yiazmat at full health doing 12 combos constantly XD
Me, I rather play it safe and do a full HP strategy :P Mainly because I always had bad luck with Cyclone. Even with the Wind reduction light armour (I think it was called Windcatcher), he would hit me for 3000-4000 with it when I was at low health >_>
@Hero_time88
It's possible to do at 170 hours, just like i've seen people getting the platinum on FFXIII at 140/150 hours. It all boogles down to the individual person, so time to complete isn't a fair measuring stick for any FF, or RPG for that matter.
People will be offended because the most silly reasons are being found to downplay FFXIII. Those same reasons were used to downplay FFXII by the time it came out. I still remember some friends of mine calling FFXII short because in order to fully complete and master FFX, with all Dark Aeons, 255 stats, Penance, monster arena complete, Nemesis defeated, it could take you well over 200 hours.
No matter how you look at it, someone will always say that X FF is better than Y FF and give the same excuses that were used since SNES days. It's getting pretty old by now.
