The people who voted for the X360 version are a mere 5%. I've never seen a VGChartz poll with a larger ratio between the winning and losing poll option, so why make a big fuss about it?
Most likely, the people who voted that either did it by accident, didn't think at all, or haven't looked at the numbers. Even after reading the thread, they'll realise that they were mistaken. You're not really sweetening the deal by suggesting that you'll take North America alone, as VGChartz' news already tells us that
(In Americas) Preliminary day one sales are in for Final Fantasy XIII, and with around 290,000 units sold on PS3 and 160,000 units sold on Xbox360 it looks like the title is a success.
As Ps3 games tend to have better legs (but worse openings) than X360 games, you'd have to be an idiot to believe the X360 version of the game would sell more.
"Any other region of your choice" would just include "Others" other than Americas (as the X360 version doesn't even launch in Japan). Now, that's an even worse scenario: "Day one sales for Other Regions is now in and the title did just over 325,000 units, so around 775,000 units across the Americas and Other Regions in total on day one, with 69% on PS3 and 31% on Xbox360." (This means that the Ps3:X360 ratio was ~ 3:1 in Others)
The only reason anyone would take this bet is if they haven't checked any numbers yet. You've just made a bet that will have no takers, and I'm fairly sure you already knew that when you made it.
