Forums - Nintendo - The Grinder Not Coming Out For Wii Anymore???

why are people saying that the game wasn't wanted anyway?

I would have loved to have another Left 4 Dead style game. At least if it would have been good.

But anyways, if this is true, HVS must be the best trolls in the world. Seriously, they should get a prize or something.

It's because the game is a top down third person shooter now, it's not the same game we saw a long time ago. that was announced at this year's GDC

ps:

Proud psOne/2/3/p owner.  I survived Aplcalyps3 and all I got was this lousy Signature.

I thought it was just a DL title for the HD consoles?

We don't know what this game is anymore. First it was a FPS Wii-exclusive, then it turned multi-platform, and now it's not even a FPS anymore. The Wii version's future is still foggy. Is it even coming out? Is it still a FPS rather than a top-down shooter?

This is like Chemistry class all over again! I'm so confused!!

Yea, and what little hype I had for a fps is gone just like that.

The only reason a game from a shovelware company got "hyped" was because their inferior products were "Wii exclusive" I'm actually glad they went multiplatform, so wii owners could open their eyes, and see how shitty HVS really is.

Because it's popular to hate on HVS after people fell for the hype train over The Conduit. If The Conduit wasn't so hyped by the media, it would be considered a solid Wii FPS, just like Reflex is.

"The only reason a game from a shovelware company got "hyped" was because their inferior products were "Wii exclusive""

Wrong. It got hyped because they said they were not going to treat the Wii like a party game dumping ground and try to make big games for it. Did you even pay attention back then?

As for this, I think this is confusion over the Animales Del Muertes game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

so the game is a Wii left for dead... but we don't want it to be a shooter anymore.... and we don't want it on wii either....

so basically the wii game got canceled and they just put the name and overall theme on an HD game....what is the point of all this ruffus? keep the name cause it got publicity? that was with the wii crowd, not the HD one...

Ugh, it wasn't because it was a Wii exclusive, otherwise people would be hyping all sorts of crappy Wii exclusives. It was their attitude that people liked and wanted to support. Nowadays though, their attitude is not so likable.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
