Anywho, congratz to Uncharted 2. And Flower won best downloadable title just like it did at the Dice awards. That one's been sweeping the downloadable awards almost as much as Uncharted's been sweeping overall GotY awards.

It's also nice of them to give Scribblenauts handheld title of the year. It was in my top four, and deserves the award as much as any released last year.

Hm, from what I'm reading on neogaf it looks like Demon's Souls narrowly lost to Uncharted. Shame.

Interesting...

I've recently played Uncharted 2, and i see how it's deserving of being nominated in just about every field...i compare it to Avatar 3D...but unlike Avatar 3D at the Grammy's, Uncharted 2 is sweeping the board.

While i see how great a game it is, i just don't think it deserves to win out in every category it's placed. I know i'm comparing "apples to oranges" so to speak, but as i stated earlier, i see Uncharted 2 being the Avatar 3D of videogames for 2009...yet even Avatar lost out in categories which everyone just assumed it'd win. Matter of fact, i'm happy the Grammy's recognized The Hurt Locker overall, but anyway...back on topic: congratulations to Naughty Dog for a great experience, but i think these awards that Uncharted 2 keeps winning is a "automatic reaction (?)" for lack of a better term, rather than analyzing the games it up against in each category.

Just my opinion.

Uncharted 2 obviously a beast, GOTY 2009. I'm really proud of Demon's Souls too, what a great game. And flower, very cool and unique.

UC2 won the most GOTY awards ever? I knew it would get this critical acclaim after first 3 minutes of playing the game and it only got better from there, well done ND, well done!
