Forums - Sony - PS Move : Anyone notice in these forums that ....

I don't see why people feel the need to complain. The addition of the Move is not suddenly going to make Sony become Nintendo and only focus on casual gamers.

Besides, Sony is hardly the first company to copy a competitor. Nintendo should think of it as a compliment that both Sony and Microsoft missed the motion control boat and are now jumping into the fray.

That's very true. O well, just let them all complain. The people that want it will be able to enjoy Sony's new innovative controller when it comes out.

It's quite clear what the complaints are about. The lack of originality on Sony's part and attempting to cash in on the market as well as the constant hypocrisy of some people saying 4 years ago how much motion control sucked.

Do you have links that quote people who hated it before who think its great now?  If so, post them, instead of making broad accusations to a huge amount of people

Of course I don't I'm merely stating that people are contradicting themselves when they say the Move is awesome when 4 years ago they blasted the Wiimote. I don't have any examples but it should be quite obvious there are people like that on these forums.

Maybe there were and maybe there weren't.  Could it be the people who compalined about it 4 years ago don't like this device?  And its other Sony backers who think its great?

Guess I'm not sure why you're complaining at all when you don't even have a PS3.  Right now I'm getting the impression you're just taking this opportunity to bash PS3 owners.

You are just making things up. Over the 24 hours, nobody really had the time to praise the damn thing when there is 15 threads to complain about things none of know yet.

1. No one know the price, none of us. All we know is it's under $100.00

2. People are questioning the experience but say it's the same as the wiimote.

3. You guys never learn, you people did the same thing after the Slim was announced, remember the ugly threads, and blew up in your faces.

4. Move in or move on, Sony will make sure this thing is big sale, Europe will love this, it might not be as big in NA though.

Well I clearly wasn't. Don't make assumptions about me when you clearly don't have any evidence to suggest that I was bashing PS3 owners. I am saying that people were bashing the Wiimote 4 years ago but now those same people are praising the Move. Did I ever say PS3 owners? No, I never did. I just said some people did that. You don't have to look real hard to find them.

But please enlighten me as to where I was bashing PS3 owners.

Add Japan to that, will probably be larger there than anywhere else (as in % of current userbase)

What Vetteman just said...

You're the one who started this by saying its the same people, yet you can't come up with one example.

anytime i've played the wii, the actual motions/actions you have to do are very basic.
i'd like this to have a little more to it. i'd probably pay about £50 for it.

Oh, and I just saw that they priced it as under $100. That means really close to $100.

Yeah, that is a BIT overpriced when the Wiimote and Nuchuck were merely $60 4 years ago and they're basically the same. You can see where more complaints stem from.

Under 100 dollars for a starter kit...

We don't know how much just the controller and accessory will be. The starter kit is The controller + PSEye + a Game. The stated clearly that they're only giving the price for the starter kit which they plan to release for under 100 at the moment.
