Forums - Sony - PS Move : Anyone notice in these forums that ....

Thing is, under $100 means almost anything. Besides, how can anyone say this is worth it or not right now? When we dont:

1) Know the actual, retail (Prices Right) price?
2) Know what other games are going to support this at launch, we do know some.
3) Know how much the Companion costs?

I own a PSeye, so Im just curious what the bundle (Im assuming they bundle a Move + Companion) will cost, or atleast an estimate of what it will cost.

How do you feel about a $20 $10 note? Overpriced? If someone isn't so impressed and then sees a price greater than they are willing to pay for it, then they are likely to feel the price is too high (overpriced).

then its simple.

Dont get it. you aren't forced to.

That doesn't stop people from calling it an overpriced Wiimote ripoff.

Its an expensive system no matter how you swing it. Especially considering how similar it is to a cheaper system which many people already own.

It's quite clear what the complaints are about. The lack of originality on Sony's part and attempting to cash in on the market as well as the constant hypocrisy of some people saying 4 years ago how much motion control sucked.

Do you have links that quote people who hated it before who think its great now?  If so, post them, instead of making broad accusations to a huge amount of people

Of course I don't I'm merely stating that people are contradicting themselves when they say the Move is awesome when 4 years ago they blasted the Wiimote. I don't have any examples but it should be quite obvious there are people like that on these forums.

It seems like great product. Gamers who like to play games wouldn't complain.

OP is right.

Oh, and I just saw that they priced it as under $100. That means really close to $100.

Yeah, that is a BIT overpriced when the Wiimote and Nuchuck were merely $60 4 years ago and they're basically the same. You can see where more complaints stem from.

I've complained about the price yet:

  • I'm still quite interested in it assuming it has games to back it up
  • Own a PS3, actually, replaced my old PS3 last week with a new one
  • I don't think it's a waste of time, I do think it's a Wii Remote knock off
  • I'm guessing at the price just like everyone else.

As far as I know, it's going to be at least a $160 investment.

$60 for the game because I assume the pack-in game is Sony Sports Resort which I already have and $100 for the Move starter kit.  They better give me something damn good for $160.

the thing is guys, all you are assuming the single controller is 100$ , that is the bundle. we don't know how much the controller heck even the bundle costs, so why complain ? there were like 10 threads talking about the same thing today.

If you don't own the Eye Toy, the bundle is likely the cheapest/easiest route.

Maybe I need to explain more. It's not about the controller. It's about the experience it provides.

As it was pointed out, this expereince has existed for a long time and for much cheaper. Also many people were calling all this a fad back when it was winning, and many of those people are now saying hw amazing it is.
