I dont know where you people are finding others that said they hated motion controlled gaming and now like it because Sony is doing it.

Examples or stop spreading the BS.

Find someone that is supporting the PS3 Move that doesn't own a Wii and you'll find someone that mocked it in the past. If they were really into the idea they would have bought a Wii during the last 3 years, no?

What about people that don't own a Wii because they thought that most games on the Wii were unimpressive and is currently interested in PSMove? The people like myself.

On that note, what is drawing you towards the Move that you did not see in the Wii?

I have asked a few of my friends this ( PS3 owners), they wanted to get the wii, but they felt like it was limited whenenevr they came over to play, but now they see the move and their reaction are like "wow i really like this". So now im like "the wii did not interest you but the move does?" I dont get it.

Same here, out of the 100's of Wii games, what is it that was so bad about them, but apparently so good in Move games? All I've seen of Move is Wii-like games. Exactly what about the games that were shown yesterday is so impressive that it apparently trumps anything Wii offers? I don't get it, either. Now if they'd shown something truly new and unique, something really innovative or different, I could understand. But they showed a Wii Sports clone, a family party game, an (apparently) laggy shooter demo and some other casual things... so, what gives?

Frankly, I don't see anyone going crazy for these games Sony showed at all, we don't want these games, Sony is doing them for a different market. What I want personally is to enjoy a big time FPS using these toys, taht's all I want.

I just want to be clear that several of the posters here are saying that because there is no "proof" of it, that no PS3 fan was against motion controls and is now magically interested. Not one person trolled the Wii and now can't wait to waggle with their "Move", right? PS3 fans are completely blameless? Is that what is being said here?

I'm not saying that.  I'm sure there could be some.  I'm just saying that not everyone who likes the "Move" bashed the Wii-mote, that's all.

Cool. I just wanted to make sure we hadn't gone over the deep end, I have seen trolling on the Wii, and I would be completely blown away if none of those people that were doing that are now embracing this. And I'm sure not nearly everyone that likes the move bashed the Wii, I like the Move and I didn't bash the Wii, I've had one since 2007.

I'm more likely to bash both now, but I never would've bashed the Wii back then.  I simply haven't found any software that utilized the motion controls that i liked (other than wii sports).  As such, I'm not really interested in the Move, but good software could change my mind.

That is absolute BS and you know it.  So just because they never had a Wii, that instantly means they were against the idea all together.  Maybe it was something they were never interested in, but now that it is accessible to them because the console they own is adopting motion controlled gaming as an alternative they became interested in seeing what it is all about.

And BTW, There could be plenty of reasons for someone not owning a Wii,  motion controls isnt always one of them.

Again.  Examples or stop spreading the BS

Stop taking everything so seriously. If you want I'll moderate the point to 'find people that didn't get a Wii and you'll sometimes find someone that mocked motion.'

It really doesn't matter.

Nah, I was referring to Dgc1808, a few posts up. I conveniently highlighted his text for your convenience. He specifically mentions most games on Wii were unimpressive, to him, yet the Move ones interest him. So I'm just wondering, like loy310, how come?

You make it sound like the Wii was the only console being hated on back then, get over yourslef, for ever hate topic you can find about the wiimote (created by nameless PS3 fans) i can find 5+ hate topics aimed at Bluray and PS3.

That wasn't my point. Don't put words in my mouth.

Dont try and lie, clearly what I wrote is what you are trying to imply, and if not then this aint the thread to bitch about what a few users said about the Wii 4 years ago.

Don't assume one damn thing if you can't prove it.

You should probably listen to your own advice.

LULZ!!! hahaha like I said, kinda funny considering a few days ago a 360 fan was moaning how 360 threads are the only ones getting derailed by fanboys.

1) Eyepet [many people here can confirm my interest in this game]
2) Socom4
3) The promise of precise tracking in a 3D space.

So far, I'm disappointed with what they showed at GDC. I'm expecting this thing to feel more like an extension of your body but both fighting games that were shown were using preset waggle gestures which is the reason alot of Wii games don't interest me.

I agree. Fair point. I have since moderated the slightly overblown tone.

I hope you weren't impressed with what you saw on that video. If you were, it would make little sense. It has potential (but so does motionplus) What I've seen of Red Steel 2 is more exciting than what was shown there.

I don't want to speak for him, and I'm not interested in the Move at this time...but I'm still waiting for a great FPS game that uses the Wiimote/Move.  I got Metroid and wasn't impressed (just my opinion, don't get mad at me) and haven't really seen anything else that looks great.  As of now, about the only thing that could get me interested in the Move is a game like that, but I'm starting to doubt that one can be made that controls to my likeing.  (Maybe I'm just too picky...)
