This goes on the Pokémon playing crowd.  HeartGold and SoulSilver are 3 days away and I'm kinda upset that they come in the plain old black that DS cards seems to always come in.  I probably should have been over this after the release of Diamond and Pearl but the fact that these games are remakes makes me even more upset.  I miss my Gold cartidge.

They should have the colored cartridges, The Ds cards don't stick out as much as the gameboy games, but it would still be nice

To me, it doesn't really matter. Black works for me because it matches my DSi.

Black matches my DS lite as well but I used to love being about to tell what people were playing from behind their GB's, GBP's and GBC's because Gold and Silver stuck out.

I miss cartridges in games at all....(with GC and Wii)

I liked the gold Majora's Mask one with a holograph on the from.

Nintendo save that for their MOST special games, remakes aren't that special imo (maybe an OoT remake would be)

Huh, now that you mention it... I was just going through some old games the other day and stumbled across my golden NES Zeldas, my blue and yellow Pokémon cartridges, my golden OOT and MM, and my Gold/Silver Stadium 2. As well as some colourless see-through GBC cartridges... ahh, good times. :'-)
