It better be.

It's as blatant a ripoff as ripoffs get, and is out almost four years after the Wiimote. Unless it has at least some technological edge over WM+, it's dead in the water - the software support will be inferior almost certainly.

It is superior, but it will really depend on the games for it to justify such a statement. So far, meh......but it has potential.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

whoever said very much so are kidding themselves. The Wii can easily have 4 players. I aint to sure if the method sony is using will have that option.

However if it does then Sony's motion controller is very superior to the Wii

Now that we have established that Sony's motion controller is not a ripp-off of Nintendo's Wii Remote (a prototype was demonstrated as early as 2004, long before Wii http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbSzmRt7HhQ ), I'd like to ask: Do you think Playstation Move is an improvement over Wii Remote which will make new kinds of games possible?

HA! If that was the case that controller would have been displayed at E3 2005 instead of that boomerang one Sony was going to put out (before they gave into the internet backlash).

PlayStation Move & Subcontroller is a direct response to the Wii Remote & Nunchuk.
In fact it's the 2nd response. The first one was the Sixaxis.

It's NOT an improvement & forgets the point of why the Wiimote was made the way it was.
The answer is versatility in control.

i gotta be honest, how the fuck should i know, we haven't tryed the damn thing, ads really doesn't prove a point, Sony is probably bullshitting about the accuracy for all we know.. the only way to know is see it for our self's lol
