I really Don't know why so may Wii fans are upset, this is great for the Wii. With Sony ugrading to motion control and having third party behind it, you guys will be getting tons of support now. That's just big.

This . It goes both ways really...more ports from Wii > Ps3 should mean ports from Ps3 > Wii.....And probably a couple games worth playing in there.

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

Upset? More like people spreading misinformation about the Wii and people are just trying to correct you but you refused to acknowledge the fact when presented.

I don't think the wand is a blatant ripoff of the wii remote. Because the idea and concept of motion control gameplay has already been done before in a form of demos.

Ok, I'm noticing a lot of blind hatred because Sony has come in and turned the industry on its head.  How can you call this thing a knock-off?  You guys are missing some critical features that blow the Wii out of the water...

The design of the two devices isn't even similar.  The glowing orb at the end of the Move can have massive game changing ramifications.  This is the next rumble, which has become standard.  One thing that I hate about the Wii is that it's almost impossible to tell which person is what player.  The Glowing orb can fix that by easily color coding it.  Also, have you seen the button placement?!?!?  It's not the same at all.  On top of that, the Wii-Mote is shaped like a rectangle.  The Move is a cylinder, which is scientifically more ergonomic than a rectangle.  This isn't even arguable.

One thing that I hate about the Wii is that when a friend comes over, I only have 1 Wii controller. I appreciate you have to buy another controller to get motion sensing in your off hand. This will give me a full featured experience that's better than the Wii and when my friends come over, BAM I already have two controllers ready to go.

Two, I think we all can agree that the Wii remote is way too complex of a device. Buttons, a d-pad, triggers... come on, you can't be serious. I like how the the Move simplifies that controller layout. This will really come in handy when playing those hardcore games that will need to fully utilize the controller to its fullest potential.

Most important though, Z-AXIS. In order to get Z-Axis support on the Wii, I would have to open up the box, dig through all of the packaging and pray that I didn't accidentally throw away some microscopic motion plus device that comes bundled with every system. With the Move, it's built in. I don't have to worry about accidentally throwing away or losing anything.

There are clear cut benefits. Anyone who can't see that... I don't even know what to say.

You fail in so man

He never notice those leds with dots on the button of the wii-remote ^~

PS Move Prototype appeared before even announcing the Wii

No. The Wii is for casual, waggling kids and grammas.

The Move is for teh hardcorez, waggling kids and grammas.

I think he's referring to the eyetoy demo showing what the peripheral was capable of with motion control.

Everytime some one mentions how the Move is a copy of the Wiimote, it just makes them look silly because it obviously is. Just like how Nintendo copied Phillips and Sony when it came to choosing a disk based format for the Gamecube.

Every company seeks guidance from older ideas, it's then up to them to improve the idea.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Some the games look like rip-offs too.
