Forums - Sony - GT5 + MOVE ????

"Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital now have an extra 6 months to iron out bugs and add additional content."

From what they said, the game's been practically ready for a while now. All this delaying is costing money.

But to the topic of the thread, they might as well release a Move Wheel that has a hole on one side where the bulb can still show itself to the camera. For those that can't afford those racing wheel peripherals, that would be the best alternative.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

seihouken,
i disagree with your points 1 to 4 ( the rest can make sense)
the reason i disagree with those reasons is because sony knew these before they announce the spring release, suddenly they changed their mind . So 5-8 those make sense
but still i think it is possible that they are adding support for MOVE

if head tracking done good, yep

GT5 was delayed to ensure massive PS3 sales during the holidays, and to help "Move".

Some sort of GT5 move wheel gimmick would sale ok, plenty dumb parents around to fall for it. I highly doubt it will happen though.

GT5 fall release to co-incide with Move?
plausble.

my fear is that by the time fall rolls around, all cars featured in GT5 will be antiques...unless they're still adding/updating new cars

it would work well, of course they wouldn't make it required. Even mario kart doesn't do that. It would probably be better than using a regular controller, though not as good as a wheel.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

It's not going to use Move. Yamauchi was interviewed by Joystiq back during TGS in October. He stated that the controller "wouldn't have much of a role in the series" and then went on to hype PlayStation Eye implementation.

Logitech Wheel or Wand waggle? What will Yamauchi-san such perfectionist as he is choose? Lemme guess...
