Forums - Gaming - PS Move can beat the Wiimote with great execution

I know, I know

There are just so many threads of this, but just hear me out

I have a wii and ps3(well partially) so im not a fanboy.

Let us remember Sony needs cash and fast (after losing so much) so they hop on the motion wagon expecting the big bucks. MS and PS were very smart in doing or Nintendo won big time. I wouldn't be supprised if the PS Move is generally better than the wiimote; better tech, came out 4 years later, and on ps3 which means overall better response.

Now the price of the PS Move is the crazy thing because the wiimote is budget friendly and consumer friendly. Now if you don't have the PS Eye, your gonna pay over 100 to get the whole thing and plus the price of a game. Now for Sony to say under $100 means $75 or more for just the PS Move (well that's if the bundle both controllers together, numchuck and wand). There is a chance that the wiimote and PS Move can be the same.

Sony's Move is not for hardcore games, i repeat not for hardcore games. Why, because there is a reason why Nintendo put motion without presicion in their games. Imagine if your playing LoZ and you had to precisely fight all the enemies, your arms would be in pain from all the swinging and motion after periods of time. That's why a lot of waggle came from because the gamer on wii got tired of the swinging and simply just did little shakes or in this case waggles. That gladiator demo they showed wouldn't be played like how they showed it in GDC, in living rooms . People would be waggling the Move just like the Wii.  Shooters would be the strength of the Move if they execute properly, imagine MW2.

Beware, the PS3 WILL BE COME THE WII HD, MEANING LOTS AND LOTS OF MINIGAMES, SHOVELWARE, AND LOTS OF BS TITLES. All those developers who were lazy on wii because it was a gold mine will most likely do the same with ps3 and not show the ps3 full capabilities with the Move.

The device has to succeed for the shovelware to arrive, at least in any large quantities.

if you look at the video, you would know they are almost entirely different, except for the fact that both offer motion control technology..

So are you for or against PS Move?

I am not against it, I think if implemented in the correct way "in combination with PS EYE" then they could have something..

I mean this was there promise with PS EYE:

they had the tech, and idea, just didn't tihnk it would end up being something huge in the long run.. the wii clearly changed there expectation.

Yes, lets ignore motion plus, I mean that's not anymore precise than the the ps move, and why wouldn't Sony want to sell the ps move to their dedicated gamers(or hardcore), its only logical to try to sell it to everyone, existing users and future users.

No. The Wiimote has won already and its final. Nintendo has another chance at securing the next generation whilst Sony is still wallowing like a punch drunk giant from their financial losses in this generation.
